I’ve been so busy lately I haven’t updated in quite a while, so here’s some content for y’all…

I’ll be tattooing at the Portland Tattoo Expo October 9-11 and the Expo Center, should be a blast! Make sure you stop by and say hi. I’ve been working on some tattoo flash for the convention, mostly oregon-themed. Yesterday I went out and took some bridge photos but of course I had to pick the cloudiest day in months, here’s one of the better photos I took before it got too cloudy

Being a tattoo artist in the wonderful city of Portland gives me plenty of opportunities to tattoo a favorite subject matter, roses. Roses are classic and have been a standard symbol in American tattooing for generations. Living in the Rose City gives people an extra excuse to get them and since Portland has a great rose garden I try to take the time every year to go out to Washington Park to draw and photograph them. Here are some samples from Monday’s trip.

And if you ever get the chance, biking down to the rose garden from the zoo is exhilarating!
